Lonely Night Between Me n' Joe

First off, let me say that the lighting on this picture is absolutely fantastic. The lamp definitely highlights the coffee mug and leaves an impression of deep thought, like the person that left it there had sat in their room in a wide, corduroy chair, watching the sunset through the window and thinking about that one person they want to reach but fail to everyday.

The color combination between the red wall paint, the wood lamp, and the ivory mug is wonderful. The background is so vibrant, but the mug and lamp contrast it, making it a color-balanced photograph. I feel that the heating box or what the objects are sitting on does not fit with the image I described before, though. Perhaps you could put the lamp and mug on a more appropriate subject, like a small table, bookshelf, or nightstand? Still, the tone of the heater is great.

The overall idea of your masterpiece hit me right at home. I seem to do the same thing, night after night, thinking about him.
